We seek to proclaim Messiah by serving our community God called us to do good works, and so we will reach out and serve the larger community around us. We also proclaim the good news of the Messiah, and for the same reason: because God desires us to share with others the good things that he has given us.
We seek to create an atmosphere of acceptance and love We love because God first loved us, and it is our desire to create a community in which people of all backgrounds -- Jewish and Gentile, from the former Soviet Union, from America, or from any other background -- will feel welcome. We want to live in harmony, displaying to others God's grace as expressed through his Son our Messiah and Savior.
We seek to worship God with truth and with passion We want our worship services to be Jewish in expression, to reflect the heritage God gave the children of Abraham, but first and foremost we want our worship to bring us together as a community centered on God who experience Messiah's glory not just at worship services but in our everyday lives.
We seek to empower each other to build God's kingdom Our Messiah proclaimed that the first would be last, and the last first, that those who wish to lead must serve everyone else. True leaders are not bosses; they help others to grow; they build a community based upon peace and not guilt or shame. There is no conflict between the Law of God, which sets forth standards of right and wrong, and God's grace, which frees our hearts from evil desires and enables us to do what is right.
