The Relevance of Jesus
All
people feel lost deep down in their hearts. The Old and New Testaments
of the Bible explains why. We do not accept God's help when we are in need.
This affects every person, every family, the Russian Jewish community, and
the entire human race. We give honor to God on our terms, not His.
But God knows our need. He knows our community.
He made a promise to save us from our lost condition and sent a Messiah to
make all things new, and to give us new hearts of gladness. This is the New
Covenant, which God prophesied to Israel and to all the nations of the world
in the Torah.
God the Father sent His Son Jesus to be Our
Messiah. If you come to God and ask for reconciliation and forgiveness, God
will accept you into His family! This is because Jesus died for our sins so
that we can be at peace with God. This is the way that Jesus brings individuals
out of their lost condition. He gives us new life.
